With your @ourmail.co.nz email address, you don't have to change anything on your computer whatsoever, you just continue to use your Outlook Express or Eudora or similar to access your email exactly the same as you currently do. The sole (but significant) difference is that when you use your @ourmail.co.nz email address we act as an intermediatary - your email address is yourname@ourmail.co.nz and we simply redirect all your emails to your normal ISP email address (or any other email address) - and of course we do also have a webmail service that you can use to access your email from anywhere in the world if you are travelling What's the point of this we hear you say? The difference may be small but it is very significant - It means that you are now totally independant of your ISP and you can now change your ISP at any time without losing any email or having to change your email address, whether because they are not giving you the service you need, they are too slow, there is another ISP offering a much better deal, you have moved jobs or you have moved to Australia or any other reason. And of course its not just a permanant move that could affect you receiving emails - you might have moved to Australia or somewhere else on holiday or temporary transfer for a couple of months, and with a normal ISP email it means that you may have to change to using a web-based mail until you get home so your mails in and replies are no longer on your computer (particularly if you are using Telecom's Xtra, as they have put blocks in to stop you clearing your Xtra emails from any other ISP service). You may think that you can achieve the same sort of result by using one of the free webmail services such as Gmail or Hotmail, which of course you can. However, these are free services (and everyone knows that they are free services), so make you look very unprofessional if you are in business - and even for private people are not really ideal. Entirely apart from the deluge of Spam you receive when using such services, the disadvantages of having to use a webmail type interface and not having local copies and therefore not being able to access your emails unless you are connected to the Internet at the time, are quite significant, entirely apart from being left with a meaningless email address like "JWilson2678@something.com". With @ourmail.co.nz you just advise us of any new email address that is the easiest for you to clear at any given time, and we redirect all your emails to that address for however long you want us to until you advise us otherwise. Why put up with being tied to an ISP who is giving you poor service or charging you too much just because its too difficult to change? Hurry, the sooner you get your @ourmail.co.nz email set up, the sooner you will be independant of your ISP and able to react at any time to the company that is going to give you the best service at the best price for your internet access. And of course the more likely you are to get your ideal name (such as John_Wilson@ourmail.co.nz rather than something like JW2368@hotmail.com).
Don't miss out on your ideal name @ourmail.co.nz, do it now!
